Updating Some Older Reviews

I thought I'd take a few minutes and just do an update on a few of my older blog posts. More of a " Do I still use them?, Still loving the product?" type update I may do a few more at another time, but for today's posting I chose 4 random past blog posts.

So let's get to it, shall we?

Since  it is 'Tis the Season and all I thought I'd bring back up one of my favorite websites to use during the Holiday shopping season. Hollar

If you've not read the previous post I wrote, You can see it here

I am still extremely happy with the site, I've never had any issues, I have been using the site for a year now, I placed my first order on October 6, 2017.

They have recently changed how they do the shipping, Which I am actually thrilled about, The old way was, when you placed your order you had to have a minimum purchase of $10.00 to check out, shipping was $5.99 (unless it was your very 1st order, then the shipping was free), or in order to get free shipping you had to order $35 or more, I've never been able to get my cart to $35 though However, now you have no minimum order to check out and a flat rate shipping of $3.99, it also looks like now for free shipping minimum you have to purchase is only $25. This to me is awesome, I don't mind paying $3.99 shipping because I do typically order between $5-10 worth of items, of course before I was finding stuff to make $10 just so I could check out, when I all I really wanted or needed was more between $5-7 dollars. But now I don't have to worry if I can't find $10 worth of products I want or need. So that is a huge plus for me.

I have bought a lot of household cleaning products, hair care, Holiday decorations, and kids toys from them (the 2nd link at the top of this post has pictures of some of the items I've bought)  I have been extremely happy with every single thing I bought, Even the Christmas Door cover, that did not fit the full length of my door (like it showed on the packing) but that was my own fault, I didn't pay any attention to the sizing in the description, or on the packaging, but it was still adorable on my door nonetheless.

So to sum it up, Yes I still use hollar, and Yes I am still in love with the site :). Have you ever used hollar, if so what have you gotten from them, are you happy with your purchase(s)? If you've never used hollar, do you plan on it with the upcoming Holiday season? not too many other places you can get name brand products for an inexpensive price :)

Also before I forget, Hollar has a refer friends program, so if you use my link above (1st one) and order at that time I get a $2 credit off my next purchase, and you get a $2 credit for creating an account - so it is win-win for all of us 🎉. *Note: I only get my credit if you place an order right after you create your account, so if you use my link, browse, and don't purchase anything right then, but go back a day or two later just by typing the url into the address bar & not using my referral link, I won't get the credit. *

The next Post I want to recap on is the Zesty Paws Products Blog post , I posted Feb. of this year
That particular posting can be found here

We are still a huge fan of every item I posted there. Bubby loves these supplements, he takes them without any issues, they are healthy for him, and do him some good, he is about out of the allergy supplements, they worked so well for him. He barely ever had any itching during the allergy season, and even if I had to buy dog food that usually bothered him, as long as he was taking his allergy supplements he had no major itching.  I don't think he has a favorite he gets excited to see any of the containers being taken out of his drawer! Including the dried Salmon, our cats won't touch it, but he'll eat his and theirs without a problem.  I still highly recommend the company, and the products.

Next up is Lupine Pets - This review was for the Step In Harness and that posting can be found here

I'm still loving them! I mean who can't love a company that has a LIFETIME WARRANTY EVEN IF CHEWED! on their products. and YES their warranty is 100% iron clad! I've had 3 of Bubby's harnesses replaced already, two due to him chewing them (they were on him, I still do not know how he managed to get it in his mouth and chew it, but he did!) the third time was he managed to break one of the D rings in half - on the back of the harness where you'd clip the leash. He was out on his dog run one day and went after a squirrel. I think he forgot he was only able to go so far!, He was at the start of his 6 foot long run, the squirrel was off the side at the very end of it he took off full blast, and got the the end of the run and it jerked him back and that D ring snapped!  But if you've been following us here on our blog, you'll know Bubby is not a small dog, but he's not overly large either. He is an American Pit Bull Terrier, he's about 21" inches tall (give or take he won't hold still for me to get a perfect measurement) stout, and weights 54-58 pounds - all muscle. And in his defense, he often forgets just how strong he is, because in his mind he's still just a puppy, a lap dog to be exact! so he just doesn't know his own strength. 🐶

I am still loving the company! I love their great warranty, and ease of getting a replacement (snap a pic fill a form out online, and I've had mine every time within a week) I highly recommend them

Fourth and final recap for today's post - the Bissell Powerfresh Steam mop, This previous review can be read here.

I bought this steam mop back in 2015, by this time I had sworn off Bissell, I've had no luck at all with their vacuum cleaners & rug scrubbers!, But I figured how could they possibly mess up a steam mop, it's a mop you put water into a jug, plug it in, it heats and you do the actual work. I am glad still to this day, I didn't pass this mop up I am still using it. I use it for my deep cleaning once to twice a month, I just use a Swiffer with the wet pads you put on/throw out on my in between cleans. Earlier this year I went to use it, and when I went to take the cap off the water bottle it broke in my hand, and the seal was dry rotted! of course warranty was expired, But I have always made sure to take great care of this machine, even though there is not much to it, When I'm done with it I empty the water bottle out, sit it in the strainer, and I put the cap on the counter, I do not put them back together or back into the mop until they are fully dry, so the cap shouldn't of broke, and the seal shouldn't of been dry rotted. I contacted Bissell, and explained the situation, told them the warranty was expired, but this was of no fault of my own, It shouldn't of broke/dry rotted , at the time they were sold out of a replacement cap/seal , but they let me know as soon as they had more in stock they would send me one free of charge. I didn't have high hopes for this, but much to my surprise a few weeks later one showed up in my mail.   However, I still will never own another vacuum or rug scrubber made by Bissell even if some one tried to give me one for free.
