About Me

I am a mom of two children, even though they're not young any more, I have a daughter who turns 21 this year and a son who turns 18 this year (2018), I'm originally from a very small town in Ohio, and have resided in Indiana since 2005.  I would say I own 4 dogs, 3 cats, and a bird, but anyone with pets knows that they own us, we don't own them. :)

I started writing reviews back in 2012, some of them were to do with free samples I'd gotten in the mail, items I bought, and so on. I found writing reviews for me was very relaxing, and enjoyable. It doesn't matter how I acquire the item I write a review on, I put my whole heart into the review. I'm not one to sugar coat anything, and this includes my reviews. If I do not like a product for what ever reason I will write why I don't like it, if I love the product I'll write why I love it, if I'm in the middle of the road with the product I will write what I like, don't like, and what I personally think could be changed to make the product better.

My blog started out pretty slowly, as when I 1st started it my children were young, then my mother got ill, and I was traveling back and forth between Ohio & Indiana to be with her, for weeks at a time, then after she passed away in 2014 I hit rock bottom and didn't want to do anything, I've slowly been coming out of my rut, and am hoping to keep my blog  more up to date and post more often now that it seems my life is more back into the "normal" field for me.

I don't have a lot of hobbies any more, mainly just because of where I live, It is pretty hard to go ride 4 wheelers, or take the truck through mud holes on old back roads when you are now living the city life. But I still enjoy doing both!, I also enjoy to read, camp, fish, I am a country girl; born, and bred and will always be a country girl at heart, no matter where my physical body may reside!

I enjoy testing and reviewing an array of products, from items for dogs and cats (of course my furkids love to help me out here), hair products, home decor, tools, cleaning supplies of any sort. I really do not have a specific area I prefer to test and review when it comes to products, If I know how to use it, or can figure out how to use it rather easily, I am game to try it out. I've never wanted to limit myself to just one area (example - Hair styling products), because I love doing reviews, and love trying out products of all sorts. I realize most people who do reviews will keep it to just one area for an example Vacuums. But that just isn't who I am. I enjoy doing this too much to just keep to one topic of interest.

I have just started posting some of my reviews on to YouTube I will admit this adventure is still a bit scary for me, so the few I have put on to my YouTube Channel don't show me, or have my voice in them yet! I do plan on getting out of my comfort zone (sooner than later I hope) , and do some at least with my hands and voice in them :)

Well I think I have bored you all enough and this pretty much sums up who I am :)

P.S. You will notice the copyright on my pictures may say "Reviews by Atvchick" or "Product Reviews by Atvchick" , this is because I have changed the name of this blog twice already and I'm getting ready to change the name of it a third and final time, Choosing a name isn't as easy as it may seem :) But from This moment on (2/24/18) My Blog will be named  Rebel Reviewer , which is also the name of the facebook page that coincides with this blog, and if I'm able to change my twitter name without having to make a new account that will also be changed.
