Lupine Pet Step in Harness

I went on the search for a good sturdy harness for my then 5 month old American Pit Bull Terrier, who kept chewing up his harnesses. I was recommended to check out Lupine Pet. they have a life time guarantee on all their products EVEN if it's chewed!

Since I bought his 1st one over a year ago he's had 3 replacements - 2 were in less than a year! due to chewing them (while on him!)  I was a bit set back by the price I paid almost $30.00 for his harness. But after some thought I knew it was worth it, I'd never have to buy a new one! You aren't able to change the size, or design if you're requesting a replacement though so be sure the one you get will fit your dog for his/her lifetime.  Or you will have to purchase a different size if you buy one for a pup and they grow bigger. This is why I waited until he was at his full size to purchase one.

Every time I needed to get a replacement (a couple for being chewed this last time he broke off one of the 2 "D" rings that the leash gets attached to, but he is a very strong dog) I just do the online form through their website, you'll need to send a picture of the broken/chewed harness so don't toss it until you get your new one. The way the online form works, is you fill it out, You'll add the picture. If they don't need any more info they'll automatically send the product out within a couple of days. This last time I had a new harness within 3 days of putting in for a replacement.  They sell more than harnesses, but it's the only thing I've bought from them. and I love it! It's a step in harness which is so much easier to get on my dog, It doesn't get all twisted like the figure 8 styles do.  My dog loves his "Pretties" and gets excited when I take it off the hook to put it on him.

I do get some grief because I have a male dog with a Purple Harness, but my favorite color is purple and purple isn't just for girls! I know a lot of men who's favorite color is purple! And he's a dog he doesn't care what color it is :)

I don't use a collar to walk him, as I dislike collars for that purpose. His harness works wonderfully, I like that it has 2 "D" rings to latch the leash on right over top the clip for the harness so even if it would by chance come unclipped the dog shouldn't be able to slip out of it since it's still closed by the two "D" rings, that the leash is attached to - I've not ever had one come unclipped and my dog is a big puller!

The harness even works well with the pet seat belt it latches on just like a leash and it's much safer than having it latched to a collar.
