FurBliss 2 in 1 Pet Brush

I am so excited over this product! I didn't need to write a blog post about it for my campaign tasks, However, I wanted y'all to know about this product as well!

The Furbliss 2 -N- 1 Pet Brush is Fantastic! it's made of 100% medical grade silicone, The side with the bigger 'nubs' is to brush your pet, but you can also use it while giving them a bath, it has a soap reservoir  in the center, so you can use it when you're giving your dogs a bath which will help massage their skin and not just brush the shedding fur off.

Brushing and massaging side

The second side and what makes me so excited over this product is a hair and lint remover to use on your clothes, furniture, pet beds, etc. Why am I so excited over this? Simple because I have a dark red recliner my cats love to lay on top of, it has so much pet fur built up on it, that it is rather gross and I keep it covered with blankets, due to nothing working to get the fur off, and I have tried everything from sitting there for an hour with a lint roller and going through 50 sheets!, to using my vacuum , my rug scrubber, rubber gloves (both dry and damp), tape, you name it I've tried it!

The fur/lint removing side

However this little yellow silicone brush took the fur off that red chair! No lie!

Before I used the FurBliss

This chair is my nightmare! I know it all has to do with the material it's made of what ever that maybe, it is so hard to keep clean, it is very rough, and the little hairs just find their way deep down into the material like a lattice board effect or something! It is ugly and annoying to look at with cat fur all over the top, and dog fur all over the seats and arms with some cat hair mixed in there, but the cats do mainly hang out on the top.

I know what you are thinking " Keep the pets off the furniture and you wouldn't have to worry about pet fur on the furniture". However, That is not how this house rolls! This home is the pets home as well as the humans, they're allowed to be on my furniture, it is just as much theirs as it is ours.

And here is an after pic of the chair, I did just a few quick swipes for my review I didn't do a "deep" clean of it, but I was so amazed at how well it works, that I know when I do go to do the deep clean I'm going to have a clean fur-less chair.

After using the FurBliss

See the difference?? !! See why I'm so stoked over this little "rubber" brush!

The brush comes in different 'sizes" not sure if the brush itself size is any different but they have for different dog breed sizes and they have options for short hair and long hair. I chose Medium/Large Breed Short hair - due to most of my pets being short hair and Medium sized I have one Large dog, and 1 medium hair cat - this product is promoted for dogs, but I've used it on the cats and it works just as well. I've not yet used it during the dogs baths, but I will when it is time for them to have their bath again, in a week or so.

What do you think? Did the second side do a good job at removing fur that nothing else would off that red chair? Comment below.

Thanks for reading, Hope y'all have a wonderful day

PetTastic Adjustable Dog Collar

These collars are made of printed polyester webbing,  they have a nice padding to them on the underside(the side that lays around the dog's neck) due to having an ultra soft neoprene lining. They come in a variety of patterns and they even have themed collars are well. Some of the patterns/themes they offer are Paisley prints in many different colors, rose prints, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Independence Day and more.

The Rose print I chose for Cali

They come in several sizes, they have Eco-Friendly plastic buckles, Chrome coated metal leash ring (also called a D Ring) the collars even have a special spot just for the ID tags. They are adjustable, affordable, and well made. The feel of them is very nice, and soft, it appears to be very comfortable on my dog's neck, she's had it on for 3 days straight and has no issues, she sleeps comfortably with it on as well. She also looks very pretty if I may say so with her Rose printed collar on. And now we shouldn't be asked if she's male or female, the collar this one replaced was a matching one to my 2-year-old males collar, purple spikes. I was often asked what her gender was, now people will know since she is wearing a beautiful pink rose collar.

The Padding on the underside of the collar

I believe this collar is going to last her the rest of her life, she is 9 years old. And even though her and my 2-year-old dog play rough, I don't see me having to purchase her a collar anytime in the future. The stitching is done very well on this collar.

The collars come in the following sizes (source: PetTastic's store on Amazon)

Size Large, Neck length 18"-26", entire width with neoprene lining 1 1/5", printed polyester webbing layer width 1"
Size Medium, Neck length 14.5"-20", entire width with neoprene lining 1", printed polyester webbing layer width 3/4"
Size Small, Neck length 12"-16", entire width with neoprene lining 3/4", printed polyester webbing layer width 5/8"

Cali showing off her beautiful new collar

If you are looking for a good quality, long lasting, collar, that is truly comfortable on your dog and won't cut into them, one that is not rough feeling, this is the collar to choose. I highly recommend it. And Cali gives it 2 paws up! She's loving hers and loves the attention she's getting when people see her collar

Cali out for a walk

The Leash ring on this collar is a good size, the leash she typically uses has a smallish clasp on it, but the other leash I use with her has a heavy duty clasp that is about 2" bigger and thicker than this one, and it works just as well on the leash ring. The ring also feels and looks sturdy it is all one piece you can see where it's connected together, but there are no gaps like there are on some D rings , and it is also tucked into a little "pocket"and doesn't move easily, so I don't think it'll break apart . Which I've had happen on other collars with my 2 year-old dog when he pulled to hard it spread the D ring open and the leash came off! I don't see this being an issue with this collar though.

Cranberry Bladder Bites With Cran-Max for Dogs

About a week ago Cali started having rather stinky pee, I could smell it from a few feet away, she was not having any other issues urinating though, wasn't going more, wasn't having accidents, nor was she straining.
I received this product free for my honest review and as always my review is based on the product, and how it works, and not how I acquired it.

Cali has been taking them for about 3 days now, and I've noticed a difference already, I am thinking I caught what ever was making her urine stink early on, so these worked quickly, I of course can not guarantee how quickly they'd work on any other dog. I am also giving them to Bubby as a precaution, even though he has never had any urinary issues, and they both drink a lot of water, it never hurts to be on the safe side.

These bites are chicken flavored they come in a 12.7 oz jar, which contains 90 heart shaped soft chews.

These chews like the rest of the Zesty Paws Line I have contain NO Wheat, Corn, or Soy, they have NO artificial flavoring or preservatives. Which is one of the main reason I love this brand, As my dogs can't eat stuff with Wheat, Corn, or Soy, and Bubby can't eat anything with a red dye they break out in hives, or a full blown allergic reaction if they do.

I am not a vet, and it is always best to consult with your pets vet before giving them any type of supplements, so I'm not on here giving medical advice, I am just stating my opinions and thoughts about the products I personally use on my own pets. I feel confident in giving these and other forms of supplements to my dogs.

A little more about the product itself. It contains *organic Marshmallow Root, and D- Mannose, that give Kidney , bladder, and urinary tract support. It also contains palm fruit oil, flax-seed meal, chicken liver, and rosemary extract.

The Cran-Max is a pure cranberry concentrate that has been clinically proven to flush out bad bacteria and to promote a healthy bladder and urinary tract

Overall I am very pleased with this product, not only because it is working for Cali, but because it is full of stuff that will help keep her and Bubby's bladder and urinary tract in check. I recommend this product to anyone that has a dog that is having issues, or just as a preventative measure.

LED Rechargeable Dog Collar

I got this free, for my honest review. I have it since October 2, 2016 and I love it! I use it when I have my dog outside on his run after dark, when we're having bon fires , or just hanging out with family, this way he can be seen and no one trips over his run. It is also great to have on him when we go night fishing, so we always know where he is. Mine has three different light features (not sure if this has been changed) but it has where it's just lit up, it has an option to flash, and then a option to flash faster. It charges by a USB cable that you just plug into your computer. It is made of normal collar material, and is easily adjustable. It's never bothered my dog to wear it, it hasn't rubbed his skin or anything.

Even when it is lit he is not bothered by it at all. It is bright enough to see when he's several feet away. I have the Yellow one, but it comes in a few other colors as well.

This would also be perfect for those who live in the country, and don't have many if any street lights but you like to take an evening stroll with the collar on and lit up motorist will be able to see your dog , I actually like it better than reflect collars and or leashes, I think it is easier to see, and a driver would see it lit up (flashing or not) before they'd see a reflective strip glaring at them,  or even just to let your dog out in your own yard after dark, so you can see him or her in your yard.

I do not use it daily, but I have used it a lot and it's holding up well, no frays, nothing is falling off due to being poorly made. I did have to fix the D ring though, but that was due to my dog pulling really hard while he was on his run trying to get to a neighbors dog who was known to be let go to come and attack my dog, so my dog was in a defensive state of mind and ran towards the other dog with all his might and power and the cable stopped him and when it did it spread the D ring open, my dog is rather powerful, but I just used pliers and closed it back up and we no longer have those neighbors , so I shouldn't have a problem any more.

I highly recommend this collar to anyone who has a dog, rather you live in the city where it is well lit, or the country where it's not as well lit, This collar will come in handy for all environments. And keep your dog safe as well.

The Toys That My Dog gives 2 Paws Up For

I have a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier, he is an extreme heavy chewer. He's not picky on what kind of toys he has, however some just don't last while others have lasted a lot longer than I ever thought they were. These are in no particular order

Tug Toys are one of Bubby's all time Favorites! and they take longer for him to destroy as well!

Dog Tug Toys @ ActiveDogToys.com

Chew Toys - He likes any all chew toys, but toys like this came in handy when he was a pup the little bumps on it helped him while he was teething, and he still plays with them now being 2, now the little bumps help keep the tarter from building up on his teeth, and they work out his jaw muscles. He still has his original "nubby" bone from when I got him at 2 months old.

Tough Chew Toys - Got a powerful chewer? We have the toughest chew toys you'll ever find - both hard and soft chew toys!

This next one is on Bubby's Wish List - He's been wanting the Tug Toy for a long time now. Maybe "Santa Paws" will bring him one for Christmas

Backyard Interactive Dog Toy - The Tether Tug is easily installed in the grass and plays tug with your dog even when you're not home! Spins in all directions for the ultimate game of tug!

Purina True Instincts Grain Free Dog Food

My dog is 2 years old, he's eaten 2 brands of Food for well over a year, one is grain free, one has No corn, soy, or wheat.

I got a coupon for Purina True Instincts Grain Free Dog food that would make the bag free, I caved and got it, I typically would never feed my dog Purina brand food at all ever, due to the horrid ingredient list. But I fell for the hype they gave this food. They said it was grain free, they made it look so good and healthy for my dog.

That was my biggest mistake! I should of kept to my rule of no Purina Products allowed in my home!

Day 1 after my dog ate it, his bowl movement was horrible, his poop was so hard and dried out he had to strain to go to the bathroom.

Day 2 he started itching a little, I chalked it up to it was almost time for his bath he has been known to get just a tiny bit itchy within a day or 2 of his next bath.

Day 3 he woke up to having big lumps under his front legs in the "arm pit" area that was wet and oozing something clear, upon further inspection when he refused to stop scratching at himself, he was scratching non stop - this is not normal for my dog! I started looking him over more, he'd rolled over and tilted his head back , and I wanted to cry all under his neck was big red sores dried blood, clear liquid oozing out.

I started  back tracking to see what had changed, shampoo was the same he'd been using for months, Treats same as he's eaten for over a year, nothing different outside, same laundry soap on all our clothes and bedding. Then it dawned on me the only change he'd had in over a year - The food!

This food made my dog so miserable, his poop was hard and dry for nearly 2 weeks and I stopped feeding him this food on day 3!! He itched so bad he was making himself bleed, he was on Bendryl for almost a month, I would smear anti itch cream on him in the morning, then smear pure Aloe Vera Gel on him in the afternoon, along with always putting Antibiotic ointment on him, in the evening before bed I mixed all 3 and smeared on him, this was done daily several times a day for nearly a month. To attempt to lessen the itching so the poor guy could get some sleep and be comfortable. We dealt with these issues for almost a month (keep in mind he was only on that food for 3 days I threw the rest away as soon as I realized what was causing his problems). He has finally stopped itching, his sores are healing, he's no longer oozing clear liquid and he's not miserable and his poop is no longer hard and dried out.

I contacted the company, and all they had were apologizes and then had the Gaul to ask me if I wanted coupons to try a different style of their food. since he must of been allergic to something in this particular formula! If this formula was truly grain free this would of never happened. As his food is switched between the 2 main brands he's always eaten every time I buy a new bag of food (about once every 3-4 months, since I buy a big bag and it's only feeding 1 dog). I will never purchase any thing made by Purina ever again. And I suggest no one feed this stuff to their dogs. I've seen other people commenting on Purina's facebook page, that their brand new bags had mold or some thing in it, one picture you couldn't even tell what the clump was supposed to be, but honestly it looked like a dead decaying mouse!

The following picture is of my dogs neck, this is how he woke up on day 3!

This is the bag I got

This is on the website with the description of this food, however the food my dog ate out of the above bag was not all brown, there were red kibble in it as well! Didn't show red kibble on the bag but it was most certainly in it

Some of the major issues I now know about this food and it's ingredient list that I didn't know prior to getting it or feeding it to my dog is Poultry by- product meal can be sourced from dead, non- slaughtered , diseased, or even euthanized animals!Animal digest can be sourced from animals who've been euthanized with phenobarbital, which will still be in the animals system when they grind up the body to turn it into pet food! Animal fat is another one that can be sourced from Dead, Non- Slaughtered, diseased, or even euthanized animals.

So these types of ingredients that can be sourced from dead, non- slaughtered, diseased, or even euthanized animals, could actually be coming from the road kill you see along side the road as you're driving home from the store after buying the pet food!

Also what a lot of consumers do not know is how to read a ingredient list - well not so much read it - but understand it, anything listed at the top say 5 ingredients has the most of that product in it , further down the list a product is, the less it is in the food The pet food company has to list the ingredients the same way our human food ingredient list is put on the packages by weight starting with the heaviest, however if the first product is meat it is at least 75% water according to the FDA.

Final thoughts: Would I recommend this food? NO! Not after the pain and agony my dog went through I wouldn't even feed this to my worst enemy Not sure if you've seen articles going around the internet (I've seen a few recently on Facebook) where peoples dogs have died and when a autopsy was done, the dog died due to ingesting Phenobarbital, now these pet owners were not putting their dogs down, they were healthy, active pets, but shortly after eating certain food (I can't recall all the brands I've seen going around) their dogs got deathly sick, and some did pass away , why would a perfectly healthy active dog have Phenobarbital in their system?

4Health Pet Food

***1st I want to state the company has not asked me to do this, nor have they paid me to do this - I am doing this on my own, from my own research and use of the brand of food! ****

I have researched 4Health food for several months, I started the research when my 4 year old beagle ended up with skin problems, but it was nothing medical, seasonal, or the like, I had it narrowed down to something in the dog food , but since I changed the brand every time I bought her new food (so she wouldn't get burnt out on it) it was impossible to figure out exactly what in the food was causing her problems. But the more I researched, the more possible culprits I found, and it was very hard to find food that didn't have any or at least some of these bad items such as: Wheat, Corn, Meat By Products, and Grains. all of which are bad to feed our pets. Even canned food had at least Meat by products and corn and some even had wheat, and rather it was dry or canned these items were always at the top of the ingredients list, which means they had a lot of this stuff in the food.  Before I got to try this brand on her, she had passed away due to complications of a accident she was in 3 years ago.

We got our 1st kitten September 2012 the second one Oct 2012, for the 1st year I fed them Special Kitty brand from walmart, Our 2nd kitten our male named Simba was abused and starved when we got him, you could feel all his bones down his back, hips, and just by looking at him tell he was ''sickly'', Our 1st kitten named Nala, was well nourished and healthy. after a few weeks Simba's poo was very stinky, the vet said it was normal, Nala's wasn't stinky but very wet, so since the vet said they were fine, we just assumed it was due to eating canned food, Nala would eat both canned and dry, Simba for the first 4 months wouldn't touch any dry food, unless it was Kitten Chow.  these bathroom habits didn't change. then Nala got pregnant and had babies, and her bathroom habits got worse, she stunk to high heaven (literally making us leave the room!), and it sounded like some one was pouring a jug of water into the litter box, I did research and from what I found this is normal for nursing mother cats, so I didn't think anything of it, the babies grew up and weaned, and went to their new homes with the exception of the one we were keeping. He's always been healthy but like his parents, their fur just didn't seem the way it should, Both Simba and the baby who's named Tigger are short haired, Nala is more of a Medium hair, when we'd run our hand down Nala, or brush her we'd get a ton of hair off her, I ended up buying a cat comb that is normally used on long hair cats, when I used it on Nala, it looked like I was brushing her with a straight razor, I watched the fur just break off and slide down her back , her fur had a lot of damage.  So not only was I seeing cats with terrible bathroom habits, Very wet stinky poo and going a lot, and cats that seemed to always be hungry, I was dealing with bad fur even on Simba who is a short hair, also Simba had gone back to looking for sickly and starved - even though he was eating like a horse, and wasn't being starved.

Fast forward a bit - This past August we got 2 beagle pups, we decided we would start them on canned food from 4Health, but keep their dry food to what their breeder fed them until they were done with the puppy stage, Well while we were at our local Tractor Supply, I saw they sold 4Health canned food for cats - this was not listed on their website, only the dry food - So we bought a couple cans while we were there to try it out, the dogs loved theirs . We got home, and gave the cats a can of the 4health canned cat food right away, and before the night was even over, their bathroom habits improved A LOT, Nala's wasn't so stinky and watery, Simba's wasn't as stinky, by the following day, their poo was NORMAL, they have been on 4Health canned food ever since - so for the last month and half, This month when they ran out of their Kitten Chow, I decided to get a small bag of dry 4Health - just a small bag to start, because Simba is very picky when it comes to dry food, it took me a few months to even get him to eat any dry food, They were eating Kitten chow and Kaboodle (mainly only Nala and Tigger ate this) So looking through the 4Health dry cat food we decided to go with "For All stages" because this covered both adults and kittens, and I couldn't see the size of the food from outside the bag, but was hoping it would be small pieces, got it home and it was, so I was hoping that would mean Simba would eat it, I poured some into their dry food dish, he sniffed it and went right to eating it - something he doesn't typically do when they get a new brand of food.  he ate a little bit then went on about his day, as did Nala and Tigger, I thought it was a bad thing when I went in about a hour later and there was still half a dish of food - normally it would be empty!  then I remembered during my research one of the pro's that I liked about this brand is they eat less of it because they actually get full, instead of just thinking they are full. This 5 pound bag has lasted over 2 weeks, a 5 pound of Kitten chow only lasts a week! and that's feeding 3 cats, 3xs a day!

We noticed earlier this week, while petting Simba that his fur looked and felt 100xs better and then I tracked down Nala, her fur looked healthy, and felt so soft, and I ran my hand down her and I didn't get the typical glob of fur coming off, just a few strands here and there- the typical amount , so I decided to use her comb on her and see how that went, if it still looked like I was brushing her with a straight razor!, much to my amazement, nothing happened that normally happens - I didn't get a big clump of when I brushed her, it didn't look like I was using a straight razor on her instead of a comb or brush. and the comb was not completely full of fur like it typically is.
My cats health and coat is 100% better, in this short amount of time I've been feeding them 4Health , their bathroom habits are back to normal, no more stinky, watery, poo . They no longer run us out of the room or house because they stunk so bad!, They don't eat no where near as much as they used to because they are actually full before they eat all the food.

Even the canned food has good ingredients and I compared it to 1 of the Special kitty canned food - special kitty 1st ingredient was by products , I have yet to find that in 4health food

4 Health food has no corn, no wheat, no soy, They have ones with out grains as well!
4Health has Omega fatty acids for skin and coat,
4Health is the way to go if you want to feed your pet a good , affordable feed
Yes it is a bit pricier than grocery store/pet shop food (like Pedigree) but do some research, then compare the list of ingredients you will be happy to pay a few extra bucks!

I have priced the other "high priced" supposed "Top brands" canned food - and I honestly about fell over! for a 5 oz can of Science diet it was about $1.19 The same size can in 4Heath is only 49 cents. That is for cat food, I didn't price the small cans in dog food as I don't use the small cans.
In both cat and dog the 13 oz cans are 99 cents. They do have 1 bigger size than 13oz in dog food that is a dollar something - I can't recall off the top of my head. The 5 pound bag of dry cat food I bought was 8 bucks, and when I switch the dogs to 4health dry food I'm looking to spend  roughly $20 for an 18 pound bag or around 32 for a 35 pound bag.  compared to the  approximately $13.00 I'd spend on a 18.5 pound bag of dog chow- But remember the brand may be a "top" brand name, but the ingredients is what matters and they are not on the top of that list - 4health is!

I recommend 4Health to any one who needs dog or cat food, rather its the dry version or the canned or both! you won't go wrong stopping in at your local Tractor Supply to get some!
It is only sold at Tractor Supply - as they are the manufacture of this brand!
Check them out, Make the switch, Your pet will love you for it!

*** Again I was not paid to do this review, I did it all on my own, I bought the products with my own money, and am not getting any type of reimbursement, discount etc. for this review! ***

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
October 28, 2013 - Update
Still loving this food!  at the end of September I went and bought an 18 pound bag of the dry cat food, since the 5 pound bag went over well with the cats!. I will need to pick up another bag in the next day or two, but that is 1 large bag of cat food for an entire month! with 3 cats that are "free" fed (meaning they have dry food in their dishes 24/7!  On the other cheaper food I was buying the same sized bag sometimes bigger and would be buying at least 2 bags a month!

Since they've been eating 4Health, I have noticed numerous differences all for the good.

They do not go through as much food - this is because they are actually FULL so they don't need to eat as much. other food has so much fillers and other bad stuff they don't need, that makes them only feel like they are full then less then 30 minutes later they would be in eating again. I used to fill their bowls at least 5 times a day, now the bowls get filled 3 times a day, and there is always still food in them when I refill them I just more or less "top them off" where as before there was not even a crumb left in a bowl

Their fur - OMG it's to die for! every time I pet them I tell them I want a blanket that feels just like their fur! they went from having rough fur that wasn't very pleasant to touch, to having soft, plush, silky fur that we honestly can't stop touching! This even includes the "baby" of the group his fur was starting to get rough, with a lot of breakage, now he has no problems at all. His mama when we'd brush her or even just run our hand down her back, there was a huge pile of fur in your brush or hand! it was not appealing at all, she wasn't soft like cats are supposed to be, and when I'd use the comb type brush to brush her instead of the soft bristled one, it looked more like I was taking a razor blade to her fur, it would just come off as I was brushing like I was ''shaving'' it off - her fur no longer does that, now when you brush or pet her you only get a few strands of fur- like you should!
I will say Daddy has the BEST overall changes not only to his fur but his overall body he came to us very sickly, scrawny, he had been starved (and probably abused) You would run your hand down his back and you could feel all his bones, his spine, his ribs, his shoulders and his hips. he just looked awful! - he now looks like a nice young man - he has filled out, when you pick him up he feels like he weighs way too much but to look at him he is not ''fat'', ''over weight'' etc. he looks like he should, you can tell he has put weight on, but it is because he now looks like a great healthy cat. you can't feel his bones any more!

The bathroom habits - No one wants to talk about or hear about cats using the bathroom - I'm aware - but this can't be left out!  Simba and Nala has always stunk us out of the house, I've had to use the top brand expensive cat litter, and even after about 2 months of using the exact same brand/style It would stop working! and they'd be stinking us out again - this is with cleaning a litter box 2-4 times a day!  they used the littler box more than any cat I've ever known!  When Nala was pregnant towards the end her poo got to be even more stinker (we didn't think it was possible) and she had diarrhea all the time, it was terrible , and after the babies were born it was still the same, even during weaning, When I looked it up - it was ''normal'' for mother cats to be like this, so I didn't worry too much about it, however, I felt bad for her it just seemed like having those bathroom habits would make one feel miserable!

Well when the babies were weaned and all but the one we were keeping were gone to their new homes her bathroom habits didn't change. And then I began to worry, so as I stated above in my original post, that is the main thing that made me switch their can food. I kid you not in under 24 hours her bathroom habits changed drastically! I would say within the first 5 hours of eating some of the 4Health can food she was a normal cat using a litter box, no more smell, no more sounding like some one was pouring a pitcher of water into the litter box! she wasn't even using the box as much any more, and no more accidents on the floor because she shouldn't get to the box in time, Same with Simba no more stench and he wasn't using it as much any more either.
This month we got to start saving money again on litter- and got to go to a less expensive brand! Seriously the litter is $5.00 for 25 pounds (also at Tractor Supply!) we can now have non scented, non expensive litter and our house does not stink! and we only have to clean it twice a day (because there are 3 cats and 3 litter boxes 2 of the boxes do get used more so than the 3rd) We don't even have to do a complete empty, and wash of the box and refill as often. With the more expensive litter we were doing a complete dump out, and washing of the box, and a refill every other week, We have only had to do a that so far to 1 of the 3 boxes since we filled them at the beginning of this month, and that is from the box they use the most, it will need done again today so it will be 2 times in a month compared to 4 or more times a month.

At the start of this month I gave half of a gallon sized baggie of this food to my boyfriends sister, for her cat. He sheds a lot and has had a lot of problems with fur balls, she was unsure if he'd eat it because he's kind of picky - he will only eat food with greens in it (as in veggies) she was unsure if he had to actually see the greens or not , because her normal food you could see it, and she was leary of changing his food. But she gave it a shot!, when my boyfriend went over about a week and half later to visit she was ecstatic and the change already that they saw in their cat, he wasn't shedding as bad - it was a typical shed - and he never once coughed due to fur balls. and she loved how soft he was! her cat is an older cat and it helped him in that same short time it helped my younger cats! she said she was going to buy him 4Health food for now on! She said yes it cost more than her normal food, but it's for 1 cat and it will last longer, because she also noticed in that short time she was feeding him the food I gave her, he was not eating no where near the amount of food that he was eating prior to the switch.
In conclusion, I recommend this cat food to any one who needs a good healthy cat food, at a lower price than most "top brands" it is 100% better than those brands, if you really stop and read those ''top brand'' ingredients you may just kick your self for ever allowing your pet to eat it (dogs and cats alike!) those foods have so much nasty stuff in it that actually do harm to our pets long term!, you will find they are all filled with "BY PRODUCTS" and other gross stuff, When reading the list, the items at the top of the list have the MOST of that item in the food.
You will love the changes you see in your cats, they have a few varieties in dry food, I use the Indoor All stage style - because it is for cats and kittens and Tigger is only 6 months old, and Simba will only eat kitten sized food .
