The Airbus A380 Bump & Go Model Airplane is for children ages 3 and up. It lights up, has sounds that sound like an airplane, and it even moves , it'll bump into something turn and go again.
It's made of heard plastic, uses 3 AA batteries (not included) it's simple to put together just put the wings and tail wings in their slots push them in fully and your done, a small screw driver opens the battery compartment.
It doesn't maneuver well on carpet or rough surfaces, my tile floors was even giving it a hard time - but my floor isn't exactly level any more from my house settling over the years. So I took it over to the church across the street with my little buddy (My boyfriends youngest grandson) and we played with it over there, the driveway wasn't as smooth as it used to be, but it worked well enough he got to play with it, and he enjoyed it a lot. It also got stuck a lot on crevices on the driveway, and in the corners of my hallway , but for a small child's toy it does as it should, it entertains them. The lights are rather bright, it is loud, and would annoy adults after a while, the on off switch is located on the bottom and very simple to use, my little buddy who is three was able to turn it on/off on his own without any help.
It is a lot bigger than I'd thought it would be, it is not heavy though, my little buddy carried it across the street to the church's parking lot and back to my house without a complaint. When you remove it from the box there is a white cap over the front wheels (as seen in the above picture) you remove that so the plane can actually move.
The lights are LED there are 4 on the bottom (2 on each wing) and the tail fin lights up and the clear strip down the middle also lights up, the speaker box is located on the bottom along with the battery compartment.
Overall we were happy with the toy airplane and I'm sure my little buddy will get hours of enjoyment out of it. He is all into vehicles of all kinds and he had nothing like this.

He loved it so much that after his mom buckled him up in his car seat, she had to give it to him to play with on their ride home! Usually he plays with his matchbox car he gets every time he comes over (and today was no different he got one of those too, but put it in his pocket)
I would recommend this airplane for any child (girls or boys) for any holiday that you need a gift for. Just remember it does not come with the batteries so you'll need to supply those, simple to put together, I had it put together and batteries inserted in about 3 minutes, took me longer to find the batteries and the little screw driver than it did to put it all together - screwdriver is only needed for battery compartment.
