I was given the Waist Trainer Corset Waist Cincher for free in exchange for my honest review.
First off let me say I am not a small woman, but I'm overly large either, I'm a 42 year mom of two , who has a lot of health issues, exercising is not easy on me so I don't do a whole lot of it, if any really I have a gut I won't deny that. Be sure to measure yourself properly for this product, it does NOT go by what size clothes you wear, which I knew that before I picked one, I read over the description on amazon , I measured myself, and thought well I'm only a tiny bit over the largest size and since it has some stretch to it, it should work fine. That was my mistake! because it is actually too small I can make it go on, but it's not very comfortable unless all I do is stand up, it's hard to bend over and sit with it being small. I should of also took into consideration that it is made in China and their sizing is off ( I am in the United States).
However I still have a positive review about the product, because the sizing mishap was my own fault I messed up. Which doesn't mean I can't use it, because I can, and have it's just not as comfortable as it probably would be had it fit properly. So my review is going to be an overall review of the product it self.
The outer laying is 100% Natural Latex and it feels wonderful! The inner lining is 91% Cotton+9% Spandex, very soft, on the sink, I don't see any issues with sticking to your body if you start sweating. It has three rows of hook and eye closures, the same hook and eye closures that are on bras only these feel a lot more durable., they are rather small so if you have long nails, you may have a bit of a time getting them latched.
It is a type of Compression Corset, and it is supposed to decrease the size of your waist by 3-4 inches. The "stripes" going down the side are 9 Spiral steel boned for waist cincher support and keep you in best posture which is flexible and durable, as soft as plastic bones, can bend easily but recover quickly to origin. The Waist Clincher is double stitched for durability It comes in 4 different colors, I just chose the basic black.
I see this product lasting a long time as long as it's properly taken care of. It is able to be washed in a washing machine, but do not put it into a dryer, it is to be laid flat to dry. Also you are not able to tell you are wearing it under clothes. At least I couldn't tell, now if you have a tight curve fitting top on, your experience maybe different.
Also in the description on amazon it states some people find the smell of the latex when they open it to be strong, I didn't smell anything at all, but the description also states if this is an issue just lay it out flat to air out, and the smell should go away in a few days, if this ends up being an issue.
Overall I am very happy with this product, even though I messed up with the sizing, but again that was my own fault and I won't hold that against the product or the company (they did a very good job pointing it out in the description that it will not be sized by the clothes you wear, and you must measure, I just took for granted since I was only a inch or two above all the highest end measurements on the largest size and that it has a bit of stretch to it, that it would have been fine and still worked - That is where I went wrong, and again it's my own fault , however, like I said I can get it on, just takes me some time, it reminded me of back in the day when you'd go put your favorite jeans on and they wouldn't zip up, and you were dead set on wearing them and would lay across your bed with pliers or a metal hanger and fight that zipper til it's death to get them on 🤣🤣
