Space Saver Bags

I finally broke down and purchased some space saver bags, My laundry room had become almost inaccessible due to the large amount of trash bags I had shoved in there, that were storing our extra blankets, sheets, pillowcases, winter coats the kids outgrew, clothes the kids have outgrown. I had seven (7) Thirty (30) Gallon trash bags completely full (busting at the seams full) and one(1) very large yard and leaf bag about half full, and a bunch more just thrown on top of those bags that probably would of stuffed full two(2) more thirty(30) gallon trash bags. I am now down to one(1) thirty(30) gallon trash bag and the only reason it is there, is because I ran out of big space saver bags, so soon as I can go get more I won't have any in there! and I will be able to get around my already too small of a laundry room again, it is not only my laundry room but it is also where I have 2 sets of shelves to store my boxed and canned food at because my kitchen is way too small and not enough storage area there. It is also where the furnace and water tank are located and the rate I was going, no one could get to either of those things.

Which wasn't really safe. I bought two different brands, and I like them both the same even though one is a cheaper priced one it worked just as well as the name brand expensive ones. The only major issue I had with both brands is the little clip that you hold on to to "zip" up the bag liked to pop off, on the Ziploc brand that clip went back on with ease, on the Magic brand it took a little prying to get it open to put it back on, but went on easily enough. Both brands the air came out very well, I did use my shop vac as my normal vacuum needs to be replaced the hose has no suction on it at all. I am very pleased with my purchases, and I will be buying more in the future, and will be telling anyone I come across that is needing a way to make space this is really the way to go.

We did find out in order to get it flat like they show on T.V. you really do need to place your items in the bags as flat as possible, if you just shove a bunch of blankets and sheets in like we started doing it doesn't go flat and makes a little harder to tuck under low sitting beds, and if you tried to stack them on top of one another like they show on T.V. that probably wouldn't happen.
