Microfiber Dusting Wand for Car & Home

I received this product at a discount for my review. I have actually had this product for a few years, and have given it several tries to redeem itself!  The only thing I can even say that I like about it is that it does help me reach the harder to reach areas like high up in corners, or behind the television even the dashboard of the mini van near the windshield . But in all honesty that is about the only good it does me!

To be completely honest I don't even think this is made of real microfiber, I say this because barely anything even sticks to it, true microfiber doesn't just move around dirt or knock dust bunnies off they're attracted and stuck to the microfiber, however, in this case that is not true, some dust goes on it but as soon as you give it a shake it all falls off, any big pieces of dust are just thrown around. I first used it on my ceiling fan, which I will admit (embarrassing as it is)  I barely ever dust it, I just don't ever think about it , I don't look up enough I guess! because it's "out of sight, out of mind" sort of speak, plus it is on all of the time. But I shut it off and used it when I first got this and it was filthy! and all this did was push all the big dust "bunnies" down into my face, onto my clean tables, chairs and carpet! I was not impressed what so ever, I was actually cussing this contraption!

But I chalked it up to me not dusting the ceiling fan in a while, maybe it was just too much for this to handle, so I tried it on something more simple, the T.V. stand basically just had a little dust and some cat fur on it, all it did was swipe it from one side to another and make a line of dust and cat hairs!

So I gave it another try yet again, this time on the dashboard of the mini van, it still just spread the dust all over the place but I was able to use it to get the dust out of the edges and down close to the glass where I have a lot of problems reaching with a rag. It basically just pulled it all towards the front and I went over that area with my rag to actually remove the dust.

In conclusion, I can't say I'd recommend this product by any means , however, I know everyone is different and just because I had terrible results with it doesn't mean that everyone would. So with that said I will leave a link down below so if you want to decide for yourself it's there for you. :) , I only use this to help get up in the higher corners and behind the t.v. where cob webs like to hide, since it does get them better than the straw broom, but to dust with, I don't use it for that at all, since I end up giving myself more work, when I try to dust with it, having to go back over with a rag (of any kind) is rather pointless, just use the rag to begin with and my job is done a lot quicker and less stressful.
