I got this product free for my honest review, I've had this thermometer for several years now, and I absolutely love it. It is simple to use, easy to read, and fast. I've used it on myself, my children (teenage & young adult), and even my boyfriends grandsons who are 8 and under. It makes it so much easier than trying to use a standard thermometer that goes in the mouth, or under the armpit, especially when you've got a wiggling child who doesn't want you do do it.
You just sit it on the forehead after turning it on, and in about 3 seconds it'll beep and tell you the temperature. I have used it along with the standard mouth digital type, and the readings were identical on both devices.
Also it's not huge, so it is easy to store, but it's not so small you'd have issues reading the LCD screen. I keep mine on a shelf next to my sink so I always know where it is, and it's easy to grab when I need it. I like that I can read the LCD screen without having to track down my glasses like I do on some of the Digital Mouth thermometers I have, or just get someone else to read off the numbers for me. I've had this for probably 3 years and have not yet had to change the batteries.
I think this thermometer is a must have for home, it's compact enough that you can toss it into a toiletry bag when you go on a trip, or even keep one in a diaper bag so if you're out and about and your little one seems unwell you can quickly get their temperature. It is inexpensive but made well, and worth having for sure, even if you don't have any children and just want a better, quicker, and easier way to check your own temp.
